
Culture, culture, culture… we hear the word everywhere. We should be “living” our business culture every day, but that is often easier said than done.
At TAB Denver West we are proud and humbled to be part of a large international organization, a family, who are all committed to helping CEOs, business owners, Presidents move the needle of their business forward. It has been my privilege to be part of TAB since 2005. As we have grown and evolved around the world, it’s been challenging to develop and execute a culture that we all practice consistently. With input from TAB leaders worldwide we came up with a word that defines our culture and lets us and our TAB members live by: CALIBER. What does it mean?
Community – Who better to give you the support you need than those people who have been in the trenches fighting the good fight, just like you? Becoming a member of this great community allows you to leverage their experience, achievements and even their mistakes to dramatically increase your chances for success.
Accountability – Not having to answer to anybody… the ultimate freedom and the true test of a business owner. TAB membership gives you peers who expect you to do what you say you will do. Because it’s nothing less than they expect from themselves. And it’s a necessary part of your growth.
Lifelong Learning – A shark must move to survive. The same is true for your business. Look around and you’ll see a business landscape changing right before your eyes. Are you going to take part in the progress? Or be a shark listing in still waters? Learning is the key… something you’ll do every day with TAB.
Innovation – Innovation is the key to thriving, and even staying alive. Just ask any taxi cab owner. Disruption is everywhere, in every industry, and the only way to stem the tide and ride the wave is to innovate. This is a core belief at TAB, and we explore ways to keep on top of the upheaval, and to leverage it.
Belief – You created your business for yourself, your family and hopefully to contribute to the betterment of society. This belief in the greater good as a byproduct of being a good business person is a philosophy that our TAB business owners , share and revel in… making every single day meaningful.
Excellence – What else can we say? Excellence is the culmination of everything we do, the effort we make, the values we stand for. TAB Denver West strive for excellence in every way – redefining the caliber of their lives, their businesses and their legacies. Come be excellent with us… at TAB.
Respect – One of the fundamental human desires is to give and receive respect. TAB business owners strive to improve their businesses as a sign of the respect they have for themselves, their employees, their industries and the people around them – including fellow board members.
Everything that we do in our TAB board meetings and coaching sessions, all of our tools, events and offers embody CALIBER.
