I’m often impressed by the qualities of the companies in Denver – many of them are world class! To meet some of them go to Colorado Companies to Watch. These are truly amazing companies and it is a terrific program.
What do these have in common?
Much has been written on this, but in my experience, extraordinary companies are those in which the what, why and how are aligned.
When a company runs a quality operation, you can be assured that there is a clearly articulated and understood vision of what they want to accomplish. They achieve so much excellence because they’ve thought about what excellence looks like to them and how to get there.
The employees who work for extraordinary companies are emotionally engaged because they know why what they’re doing matters and the benefit it brings. They are aligned on how to work together to achieve results. Because they’ve heard a vision clearly articulated from their leadership, they can execute that vision effectively.
How can you join the ranks of these extraordinary companies?
You can become one of them with a little thought, focus, elbow grease and a team of advisors, which should include a trusted business consultant and solid group of peer advisors.
Let me know how I can help.
