Who We Work With

Our clients are the decision makers in small and mid-market privately held companies - business owners, CEOs, presidents, and manageing partners - in the Denver Metro area.

TAB members lead businesses with annual revenues ranging from $500,000 to more than $60 million, have anywhere from one to more than 400 employees, and represent vital economic growth in the Denver economy.  Industries we serve include technology, manufacturing and construction, finance, real estate, insurance, retail and a wide variety of service busiensses.  More specifically, we work with business owners who:

  • Want to work on their business, not just in their business.
  • Want a sounding board and honest, objective feedback.
  • Want more balance between work and personal life.
  • Run businesses struggling with conflict and/or sucession planning in their family run business.
  • Are under pressure to turn their business around.
  • Need to reduce the high cost of turnover.
  • Are ready to hear the truth.

You have created a company - and a job for yourself - but too often it feels like you are working for someone else. You're working long hours and not taking enough money out of the business.  Your're working for your business, rather than having your business work for you.  Your life is out of balance and your stress is high.  You want to increase company revenues and your personal income, grow your equity in the business, focus your time on strategic initiatives, and have time for family and friends.

You are having trouble finding and keeping the right talent.  Having the right employees is critical to your success.  But just when you think you finally have your staffing issues resolved, key people leave the business or simply stop performing up to standard.  You want to know where to find the best employees, how to keep them once you've hired and trained them, and how to keep them motivated and engaged so that they grow with the company and become integral players on a successful team.

You want more than "networking."  If you are looking for a leads group or networking function, TAB is not for you.  While you will most certainly make fascinating business contacts as a result of being a TAB member, the focus of TAB is on you, your business, your success.

You adhere to the highest standards of honesty and integrity.  If you want to succeed by taking ethical shortcuts, TAB is not for you.  If you want to play the business game at the highest level, we would like to help you succeed.

Profitability is not optional.  We understand that you take your business seriously.  We support business leaders who need to see significant improvement in the bottom line results of their business and in the overall quality of their lives.

Creating customer value is the fundamental engine for growing a business.  Perhaps this is stating the obvious, but customers and the revenues they produce are the lifebook of any business. We help business owners create and deliver high quality products and services so that their customer base is constantly growing.

Accountability and commitment drive results.  Too many business owners have great ideas that they never get around to executing.  We hold ourselves, our clients, our partners, and other stakeholders accountable to strive for continuous improvement.
